In October, NHPTV and WGBH launched an important new collaboration that resulted in some changes for NHPTV viewers in New Hampshire and Eastern Massachusetts. Following is information for New Hampshire members of NHPTV or WGBH.

Member FAQs for New Hampshire Residents
Q: I am a NHPTV member. Is my contribution now going to WGBH? A: Thank you for your support of New Hampshire Public Television. The answer to this question differs depending where you live. As a New Hampshire resident, your contribution will remain with NHPTV and you will remain a NHPTV member with no interruption to your benefits. Your acknowledgement, MemberCard and thank you gift, if you requested them, will be fulfilled by NHPTV.
Q: I am a WGBH Television member. Is my contribution now going to NHPTV? A: Thank you for your support of WGBH Television. The answer to this question differs depending where you live. As a New Hampshire resident your contribution to WGBH Television will remain with WGBH and your acknowledgement and all member benefits, along with any thank you gift you may have requested, will be fulfilled by WGBH. WGBH will send you a program schedule for New Hampshire Public Television on request. As a New Hampshire resident, your membership renewal will come from New Hampshire Public Television and gifts you make in response will be applied to NHPTV, the public television station now serving your community. At that time, your membership will be transferred and all membership acknowledgements and benefit fulfillment will be completed by NHPTV. Q: I’m a member of both WGBH and NHPTV living in MA/NH and watch the stations via Comcast cable service. What does this mean for me? A: You can choose to consolidate your giving to increase your impact on the station that is now serving your community. Or you may continue to support both stations despite only being able to view one.
Q: I am a WGBH/NHPTV Sustainer. What happens to my membership? A: As a WGBH Sustainer residing in New Hampshire, your payments will continue to go to WGBH until the anniversary of your enrollment. As your anniversary approaches, you will be contacted about redirecting future payments to support New Hampshire Public Television, the public television station now serving your community. As a Sustainer, you always have the ability to increase, decrease or stop your payments at any time by calling, emailing, or completing the Contact Us form. In the meantime, if you would like to review the member benefits at NHPTV please visit nhptv.org/members.
Q: What if I don’t want to change my donation to WGBH or NHPTV? What happens to my ability to remain a member of NHPTV or WGBH? A: You are always free to support the station of your choice.
Q: Will and/or when will I receive my new member packet? A: Once you renew your membership with the station that is now servicing your community, that station will fulfill all of your communications and benefits. You should receive an acknowledgement of any future gift within 3 weeks.
Q: I’m a NHPTV and WGBH member. How may I continue to support both? A: You can choose to consolidate your giving to increase your impact on the station that is now serving your community. You are always free to support the station(s) of your choice, even if you can no longer receive one of them. Your support is greatly appreciated, however you choose to allocate it.
Q: I am also a member of New Hampshire Public Radio (NHPR). Are they in this partnership? A: No. This change only affects viewers and members of WGBH Television and New Hampshire Public Television. NHPR and NHPTV have always been entirely separate organizations, and remain so. They will continue to operate independently administratively and financially. This change only affects viewers and members of WGBH Television and New Hampshire Public Television.
Q: I am also a member of WGBH public radio (89.7/99.5). Will my membership now be changed to New Hampshire Public Radio (NHPR)? A: No. Your WGBH radio membership will be unaffected and there will be no interruption to your benefits.
